"I felt light and delivered"

"For a while now I have been asking God to intervene in my ancestral lineage and for washing with his blood every ancestral idolatry worshipping of any kind. Also any direct or indirect involvement in voodoo because my surname means it has some association with worshipping small god – it is a nickname that has been passed down.

I always pray to Jesus to break any curse or negative words pronounced over me or my family. In 2022 I had been praying and fasting about it as it is one of my prayer points. I went to church recently, danced and praised God knowing I was going to receive from him. Tom and Lesley shared how they had been delivered of generational curses they had been indirectly involved in the past and how they received deliverance.

I felt convicted and encouraged to step out for prayer during the ministry time. While I was being prayed for, the Holy Spirit reminded me of situations where I had been compromised by a family member and people who had offended me. I was able to identify where spiritual doors had been opened, denounced and closed them in the name of Jesus.

I was led through a prayer of denouncing every evil associates or curses and being able to forgive those who had hurt me as otherwise unforgiveness can get in the way of someone not getting their deliverance. After the prayer, I felt light, delivered and I give all praise to God! I just want to give God all the glory. He has been good and kind to me."
